One of the major sources of failure in fiber optic links today is dirty and damage connector. The last couple of years, installers and fiber technicians have started to use cleaning products with ambition to get clean connector end face, but cleaning without inspection often ends up in with a bad result.
We can help you to get the right inspection equipment for your needs and application.
There is no use in trying to clean a connector end face before inspect the connector in a microscope, always inspect the connector first. If the connector is clean, you can go on and connect it, if it is dirty, clean it and check it with the microscope again to make sure that the result is good. Very common is that the patch cord connector is cleaned but not the connector inside of the adaptor in the ODF or equipment. The insertion loss of a connector coupling is a factor of the worst connector in the coupling. Always check both connectors before connect.
ALWAYS Inspect before you connect
